Like each year, the BWP Stallion Selection is spread over three phases : The first phase is already running and concerns the veterinary examinations in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Gent. Candidates have to make an appointment before October 15, 2023 (+32 09/264.76.18).
The enrollments of stallions for the second and third phases of the selection and the auction must arrive at the BWP Secretariat before November 15, 2024.
Both phases take place at Azelhof. The Second Phase takes place January, 8-11, 2025. On Friday January 10 we organize the BWP Top Stallion Auction and on Saturday January 11 we organize an auction of pregnant mares and embryos. That Saturday also the first manche of the Stallion competition takes place.
The Third Phase is scheduled on 6, 7 and 8 March. On March 7 we organize the Dressage Evening and the stallion selection of the BRp (ponies). On March 8 the finals of the stallion competition take place.
